is a free monthly program designed for young adults
that offers grounding in the practices and history
of cultures and religions. In addition, the interplay

In Celebration of Rumi: An Evening with Coleman Barks
In celebration of the 800th birthday of the Sufi poet Rumi,
ToU gathered Coleman Barks (preeminent Rumi interpreter),
David Darling and Glen Velez (internationally lauded world music
musicians), and Dervishes trained in the Mevlevi Tradition for an
evening that featured sublime performances by gifted artists. Proceeds
support TOU's Youth Education Programs.

Club: A Muslim, A Christian, A Jew -
Three Women Search for Understanding,
Ranya Idliby, Suzanne Oliver and
Priscilla Warner. The authors discussed
how to start a faith club in your own
community and inspired all to view
interfaith dialogue as a nurturing and
transformational experience.

"Nonviolence in Our Communities." The
event will be from 1:15-2:30pm at the
United Nations. Groups must arrive at

"Faith in Action: Women, Religion, and
Social Change." Panelists will include:
Daisy Khan from the American Society for
Muslim Advancement, Kanyere Eaton from

Katharine Henderson, Executive Vice
President of Auburn Seminary and author
of "God's Troublemakers: How Women of
